President Sisi congratulates Arab, Islamic nations on Al-Mawlid al-Nabawi

CAIRO – 18 October 2021: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi wished Egyptians, Arab and all Islamic nations happy Mawlid Nabawi, Monday.

“I extend my sincere congratulations to the Egyptian people, the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of our faithful Prophet, whose birth was a turning point in human history.” Sisi tweeted.

He added:” May God’s peace be upon Prophet Muhammad, the role model, the ideal, and the righteous example of the leader who carried the message of heaven, took responsibility with courage and faced adversity with determination, will and patience.”

“On this blessed occasion, I pray to God to protect Egypt and our Arab and Islamic peoples from all evil.” Sisi concluded extending his wishes for a Happy New Year.

 

 

On October 15, Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki has sent a cable of greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the approach of Al-Mawlid al-Nabawi (Prophet Muhammad's birthday anniversary)

 

In the cable, Zaki wished the president a happy new year in which the country achieves development and prosperity.

Chief of staff Mohamed Farid sent a similar cable to the president.

Both Zaki and Farid sent similar cables to House Speaker Hanafy Ali el- Gebali, President of the Senate Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razeq, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayyeb, Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, and Grand Mufti Shawqi Allam

Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq also sent a cable of greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, on the approach of Al-Mawlid al-Nabawi.

In his cable, the interior minister wished more progress and prosperity for the nation on this occasion.

Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq sent a cable of greetings to Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on the occasion of Al-Mawled al-Nabawi (anniversary of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday).

The interior minister also sent similar cables to Speaker of House of Representatives Hanafi Gebali and Speaker of the Senate Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq.

Millions of Muslims in Egypt and many other countries all around the world are already preparing to celebrate it, as the day will be full of wonderful activities and religious rituals.

 A week before the celebration, pastry shops display the traditional sweets known as “Halawat al-Mawlid”, with queues of Egyptian families buying boxes of the sweets and shops decorated with the Mawlid doll and accessories.
