CAIRO – 1 October 2021: A few days separate us from the beginning of the new academic year at universities across Egypt, amid warnings of peak infection rates of the fourth wave of the pandemic to hit at the same time, prompting all universities to direct the students to register to get jabbed.

During the past few days, many universities have already started vaccinating faculty members and students.

At Ain Shams University, urgent instructions were issued that no students will be allowed to enter without a proof of vaccination against Coronavirus. The university is adopting an expanded campaign to vaccinate its students through an executive plan taking place in nearly nine vaccination centers.

At the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, the college administration appealed to its students, through its official page on social media, to quickly apply to receive the Corona vaccine, before the beginning of the study.

Same announcement was made by different colleges at Ain Shams University, including the Faculty of Medicine, which assured that receiving the vaccine “is mandatory and not optional,” and confirmed that no student will be allowed to attend the college without receiving the two doses of the COVID vaccine.

The college as well as emphasized on postgraduate students applying to take the October 2021 round exam that they will not be allowed to enter the examination without providing evidence of receiving the Corona vaccine.
