Egypt, Qatar sign 2 MoUs during convention of Follow-up Committee

CAIRO – 15 September 2021: Two cooperation protocols were signed Tuesday between Egypt and Qatar during the convention of the Egyptian-Qatari Follow-up Committee in Doha.

A cooperation protocol and an MoU were signed between the Egyptian National Postal Authority and Qatar Postal Services Company. Another MoU was signed in the sector of air transportation between Egypt's Civil Aviation Authority and its Qatari counterpart.

The meeting was headed by Assistant to Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Yasser Othman, and Delegate of Qatari Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Ali al-Hagri.

Another legal committee also convened, and was chaired by Assistant to Egyptian Minister of Justice Mostafa al-Bahbity, and Head of the Legal Department at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad al-Thani.

The outcome of the meetings was congruence upon the matters discussed.
