CAIRO - 14 September 2020: Head of the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation and advisor of human development in Egypt Adel Abdellatif has said the participation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in the launch of UN human development report reaffirmed the commitment of the country's political leadership to issues of development and human rights.

Addressing a workshop while launching the report in the new Administrative Capital, he said the report was prepared by a number of independent and experienced researchers.

Abdellatif pointed out that the report does not represent the government or the United nations because it was prepared by a group of independent researchers.

He added the report outlined the achievements made in Egypt in the field of development as developing countries can benefit from it.
