CAIRO - 9 September 2021: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a session of talks with Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi at Tahrir Palace, downtown Cairo, on Thursday, discussing regional developments in light of the consensus of visions between Cairo and Amman regarding them, said Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson ambassador Ahmed Hafez on his official Twitter account.

He added that both ministers discussed the most prominent Arab issues in preparation for the foreign ministerial meeting of the Arab League due to convene in Cairo today.

Late July 2021, the Jordanian Foreign Minister met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, affirming his country’s keenness to benefit from Egypt’s developmental efforts in all fields.

Safadi hailed the Egyptian efforts that aimed to establish a ceasefire between the Israelis and the Palestinians and the Egyptian initiative for reconstruction in this regard.
In a press conference held for Shoukry and Safadi in May 2021, the Egyptian Foreign Minister Shoukry affirmed the need to reach a solution for the Palestinian issue in order to ban any possible future conflicts or aggressions.
