Direct flights between Egypt, Kuwait resume after 1-year hiatus

CAIRO - 5 September 2020: Egypt’s Cairo International Airport received the first flight from Kuwait on Kuwait airways on Sunday, after a one-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, officials at the airport told Youm7.
 
Meanwhile, the first EgyptAir flight took off the airport en its route to Kuwait on Sunday.
 
The Kuwaiti Cabinet has approved the return of direct flights with some countries, including Egypt. The Kuwaiti authorities determined that the number of arrivals should not exceed 1,562 passengers per day.
