CAIRO – 17 August 2021: Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry discussed Tuesday with the Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Robley the developments in the regional arena.

 

This comes as part of the Robley’s current visit to Cairo.

 

The meeting tackled the efforts exerted to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, which are witnessing positive developments during the recent period, according to Ambassador Ahmed Hafez, the official spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

Hafez stressed that both countries are united with historical relations, adding that Egypt is keen on supporting the Somali side and providing it with various aspects of assistance.

 

Hafez added that the meeting also touched on developments on the regional arena, where they discussed issues of common concern to both sides.
