Egypt’s FM heads to Manama to convey Sisi’s message to Bahraini king

CAIRO – 7 August 2021: Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry headed to Bahrain in an official visit on Saturday evening to deliver a written message from the Egyptian president to the Bahraini king.

According to a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s message to King Hamad bin Eisa Al-Khalifa is related to boosting bilateral relations in all fields.

The message is also concerned with boosting coordination on regional developments in a way that enhances the pillars of stability in the region and protects the elements of the Arab national security, the statement read.

Shoukry will hold official consultations with his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
