CAIRO – 27 July 2021: Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed on Tuesday with his South Sudanese counterpart Beatrice Wani-Noah bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest, during meeting in Cairo.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez added that the two minsters also discussed the latest developments regarding the Grand Renaissance Dam (GERD) along with the overall developments in East Africa and the Horn of Africa.
During the meeting, Shoukry asserted that Egypt will continue to provide all forms of support to the vital sectors in South Sudan and shore up efforts to promote peace and stability in all parts of South Sudan, the spokesman added.

They also agreed on holding a round of political consultations between the two countries in the coming period, the spokesman added.
Wani-Noah is currently visiting Egypt as a member of a high-level delegation taking part in Egyptian-South Sudanese higher committee meetings.
