Saudi shopping malls open only for vaccinated people starting August - Reuters

CAIRO – 23 July 2021: Non-vaccinated people will not be allowed into private and public facilities in Saudi Arabia, according to a report by the Labor Representation Office at the Egyptian Consulate General in Riyadh.

 

This decision will applied as of August 1, while everyone will be complied with the precautionary measures to preserve public health.

 

“The ministry confirmed that the condition of vaccination will be mandatory to enter commercial centers, malls, wholesale and retail stores, public benefit markets, restaurants and cafes, men's barbershops and women's beauty salons in KSA,” said Labor Attaché Ahmed Ragai, head of the Labor Representation Office in Riyadh.

 

Egypt’s Manpower Ministry received a report from the Labor Representation Office at the Egyptian Consulate General in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of its follow-up to the conditions of Egyptian workers in different countries through the operations room established in labor representation offices abroad to respond to any inquiries, and provide support and assistance to them at any time.

 

This follow-up system has been intensified since the spread of the Coronavirus, to preserve the rights of Egyptian workers in countries, which may be affected by some of the measures taken by some countries in this regard.
