CAIRO – 18 July 2021: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi received Sunday a phone call from Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman as they conferred over bilateral relations, and examined the developments of regional matters of mutual interest.

The president wished the fellow Arab state success in achieving Oman 2040 Vision launched by late Sultan Kaboos as both chiefs of state exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

Sultan Haitham said his country would like to benefit from Egypt's experience in development, and to continue coordination and consultation between both states over regional and international matters of joint interest.

President Sisi and Sultan Haitham congrued on the necessity of bolstering economic ties, trade exchange, and joint investments. The Egyptian president also expressed appreciation for the good treatment Egyptian expats receive in Oman while the Sultan asserted that they contribute to the growth and development of his country.
