Egyptian public prosecutor arrives in Paris to discuss joint investigations

CAIRO – 23 June 2021: Public Prosecutor Hamada al-Sawy arrived in Paris Tuesday in an official visit to discuss the outcome of investigations conducted jointly with the French judicial authority.

 

Sawy is accompanied with a high-profile delegation and was first met by Egypt's Ambassador to France Alaa Yousef, according to a statement released by the Public Prosecution.

 

TV Anchor Ahmed Mousa reported Tuesday that also Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Mostafa Waziri arrived in the French capital implying that the joint investigations may be relevant to artifacts smuggling.
