CAIRO – 20 June 2021: A photo of a statue that is very similar to Ghostface in one of Ismailiyah's streets went viral on social media over the weekend harnessing mockery from users, who thought that it was installed for decoration, as it looks so scary at night to serve the purpose.

The statue was made of gypsum by three young men in front of a gift shop they were about to inaugurate. During their interrogation after they had been arrested, they said that they were intending to put it inside the shop but they were leaving it to dry overnight.

Yet, many citizens got scared and reported the matter to the municipal authority that removed the statue Saturday, and filed a complaint at the police for illegal road occupation.

The three young men were dismissed by the Public Prosecution until it makes a decision to either drop the complaint or refer them to court. On the other hand, the three youths told Youm7 that they will make another one and leave it to dry inside the shop.
