CAIRO – 19 June 2020: President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi met with Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaky, Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid, and other top Armed Forces generals on Saturday.

The meeting tackled a plan to develop and raise the efficiency of all branches of the Armed Forces, as well as to raise the level of training and qualification for all members of the army per the latest technologies in the field of training and armament.

They also discussed the army’s contribution to Haya Karima initiative that aims to develop the Egyptian countryside in cooperation with all state agencies and institutions to accomplish the goals of the initiative at record rates.

Sisi also inspected multi-tasking armored vehicles that were manufactured by the Armed Forces, listening to a detailed explanation of the stages of manufacturing at the highest quality standards.
