Workers at Safaga, Hurghada ports vaccinated against COVID: official

CAIRO – 20 May 2021: Undersecretary of Ministry of Health in the Red Sea Tamer Marei announced that workers at Safaga and Hurgada ports were vaccinated against Coronavirus.

 

These workers are among the eligible and priority groups to receive the vaccine.

 

Marei said that medical teams were dispatched to vaccinate workers at the ports of Safaga and Hurgada against Coronavirus, and that this comes in implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Health and Population Dr. Hala Zayed.

 

The Health Affairs Directorate in the Red sea announced Thursday morning that patients with cancer were vaccinated, as they are among the urgent group of people who include: immunodeficiency patients, the elderly, patients with Chronic diseases, medical teams, and tourism workers.

 

On the other hand, registrations are in full swing through the online platform of the ministry, where people register to receive the vaccines.
