MOSCO - 6 July 2017 : Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with his Kazakhstani counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over phone the results of Astana negotiations about Syria, Russia Today channel news reported on Thursday.

Putin discussed the results of the fifth round of negotiations about settlement of the Syrian crisis with the Khazakhstani president.

He also tackled in his second call with the Israeli Prime Minister the importance of cooperation between Russia and Israel in fighting global terrorism and the conditions in Syria.

The fifth round of Astana negotiations ended Wednesday without signing any documents on de-escalation in Syria
