CAIRO - 2 May 2020: Vice President of Libya's Presidential Council Musa al-Kon said his meeting with Libyan National Army (LNA) Commander Khalifa Haftar and United Nationa (UN) Secretary General Special Envoy to Libya Jan Kubis is part of efforts meant to rally ranks among the country's institutions.

Alwasat News quoted a statement by the LNA media bureau Sunday highlighting the importance of the meeting that came as part of efforts to face up to all challenges besetting Libya, especially threats to the southern borders.

 

The statement reiterated the importance of protecting Libya's unity and sovereignty.
