CAIRO – 21 April 2021: Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid attended external command centers project 'Tornado 62' carried out by a formation of the Third Army within the annual training plan of the Egyptian Armed Forces.

The project began with organizational and preparatory measures, including coordination among elements taking part in the battle. Later on, the chief of staff checked the command and control centers to ensure their preparedness and readiness.

The exercise showed the high combat level participating elements have achieved as well as competence in using the latest command and control systems to accomplish planned missions throughout the stages of the project.

 

The chief of staff delivered the greetings of the Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, and General Commander Mohamed Zaki, minister of defense and military production. He also hailed the high morale of participating elements as well as their willpower and determination to accomplish various missions optimally under any circumstances.

 

The project was attended by a number of commanders of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
