Nurseries in Egypt to be given same privileges as MSMEs

CAIRO – 19 April 2021: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi instructed Monday that nurseries shall enjoy the same privileges as MSMEs in law, including tax discounts, and other incentives pertinent to vocational training and utilities introduction.

 

That was during a meeting attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Finance Mohamed Mait, Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine al-Qabaj, and consultants to the president for urban planning, and financial affairs.

 

The president also instructed granting unlicensed nurseries temporary licenses until they complete all the necessary paperwork.

 

The meeting also discussed the activities of social care institutions, nurseries system, and the charity work of Long Live Egypt Fund.

 

The minister of social solidarity presented what has been achieved on the front of renovating facilities for homeless children and youth, building accurate database for them, and designing programs aimed at reintegrating beneficiaries in the society.
